AACC partnered with local churches and organizations to Stand for AAPI Lives and
to mourn the loss of the 8 precious image bearers who were Taken from their loved ones.
thank you to our partners and all who joined us!
Support the AACC by wearing these shirts and making your voice heard that AAPI lives are inherently full of dignity.
As we grieve the loss of the 8 image bearers in Atlanta and the greater systemic evils of anti-Asian hate and misogyny against women of Asian descent, the church cannot remain silent.
Last year, in the wake of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd's death, AACC hosted a march for Black Lives and Dignity where over 1,000 people gathered from over 100 churches in Chicago. This Sunday, AACC is gathering once again to stand for those made in the image of God. This time, it’s nationwide.
We will mourn with the communities who lost loved ones. We want to show our nation and world that Asian American Christians will not remain silent in the face of injustice and that we will actively oppose the powers and principalities that could lead to such a heinous act of hate. We will turn to God in prayer for the families of those whose lives were taken, for the broader community of those of Asian heritage, and we will call the Church and the broader society to join us and stand for AAPI lives and dignity.
