This live panel discussion will address the recent surge in anti-Asian violence in light of COVID-19 and highlight the need for Black and Asian American solidarity against racism and white supremacy. Panelists will also discuss how the Church is uniquely positioned to lead the way in efforts toward racial justice and unity.
Topics that will be addressed:
The histories, struggles, and contributions that each of our communities have experienced
The unique contributions and struggles that women in each of our communities have had to address
Why it is important for our communities to care about anti-Asian racism
Why it is important for our communities to care about anti-Black racism - movement for Black lives
